Paula Percy, is a very active member in her community. She has served on the Hill Country Health and Wellness Center Board of Directors, since 2015. She was appointed to the Shasta District Fair Board of Director’s by the Governor in 2011. She has served on the Shasta County School Attendance Review Board for the past 20 years, and is the former Chair of the Shasta-Tehama-Trinity Citizens’ Bond Measure “H” Oversight Committee for the Shasta-Tehama-Trinity Joint Community Colleges, and served on the Board for the past 6 years. She served on the Shasta College Equity and Inclusion Committee, in addition she served on the Shasta County Public Health Advisory Board for 10 years, and its’ Executive Committee for 2 years. She has worked as a Registered Nurse for 43 years, graduated from Simpson University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, is a Certified Public Health Nurse with the state of California, a Nationally Certified Medical Audit Specialist, a former BLS Instructor and Regional Faculty, a former Educator, Surgery Manager, and Director of Nursing. She is involved in many other organizations and functions, and she strives to continue to make her community, and the world, a better place.
