I was an elementary classroom teacher for sixteen years and have been a community organizer in Eastern Shasta County since 2018.  I have extensive community engagement experience and am devoted to improving the health of the community, especially when it comes to the built environment such as parks.   I have resided in Eastern Shasta County for 23 years

I serve on the Intermountain-Fall River Mills Branch AAUW Board of directors as President, and the Intermountain Chamber of Commerce board as a Director.   I have been a co-advisor for both Interact (student leadership) clubs of Burney and Fall River/McArthur since 2021 and am the chairperson for the 2Wheels2Mobility committee of the Burney/Fall River Rotary Club.   I have previously served on the Friends of the Intermountain Library Board as a board member.
